Any of you that do come back regularly will know that I post about all areas of my gaming experience within PRO EVO. I just love playing the game. The most up to date version is of course PES 2011, which undoubtedly is the best version yet. The graphics and realistic playability are definitely improved within this version, but there are flaws within the game. </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>As I often browse the Internet for other PES related sites and articles, I have noticed that many people moan about the flaws, but still they are very passionate about the game. I ask myself "why do you moan about the game, yet still manage to say its the best football/soccer game ever?". There are many that whinge about the licences within the game and say that its competitor (which I will not name) has all the licences and they should get them! Well to be honest, if you are one of these people, then why do you not realise that the reason why the other game has all the licences is because they have the SOLE rights to them! This means only they can have them! Does this make any sense at all to you? PES does have a couple of the licences, but they do have the option to customise the game. This means you can download an OPTION FILE, for FREE! You then copy and save the names, kits etc and hey presto you have all the right content to aid in your gaming experience with the game you keep saying you love and prefer!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>This should help these people I think, but I am sure there will be more that want to moan. I have seen and experienced more flaws, but in this world I have also noticed that no one is perfect. Konami does try to fix these flaws to keep these so called fans happy through the help of online patch updates. The update takes just a few minutes (at most) to download, then install, then hopefully some problems fixed! Definitely a good idea in my eyes, but it still won't silence the moaning fans. </b></div><b><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">My ending view is "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK KONAMI!" and "NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A MOANER OR TWO!"</span></b><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-5898167822273511618?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-91065588189202143142010-12-05T10:02:00.000-08:002010-12-05T10:02:59.619-08:002010-12-05T10:02:59.619-08:00PES 2011 MASTER LEAGUE<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>I thought I would write a bit about my current master league progress (offline). I am in charge of Blackburn Rovers. I knew it was not going to be easy to play using this team, but using Rovers as my team was an obvious choice due to supporting them my whole life!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Before I started my campaign, I decided to start a different campaign with a higher club to check if there were any differences with the difficulty. My first thought would have been YES because of the strength of the team itself. Comparing players was the clincher. But what about the finances? In the previous master league's, you always started with the same amount of cash, regardless of the team. In respect of that, I thought you may have the same with this version of the master league. Was I right? NO! Take Manchester Utd for instance. This was the team I originally started with. Their initial budget was around the £170 million mark. Quite a lot if you ask me. So how much did I receive with Blackburn? Around £70 million. That's quite a difference, and with the value of the players, you would find it hard to sell any for decent amounts that would allow you to buy a decent player. This is all played at Top Player level by the way.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Well initial thoughts on my progress within the master league is that it would be hard. Very hard in fact. In the first month of playing, your costs for the year were going to be taken out of your cash. So £50 million was my costs, leaving me with £20 million. </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>I know now that I would have to make another £30 million to be in with a shot of not going bankrupt in my first season. Well at first my campaign did not go well. I lost a few, not by much, but I was not scoring either. I did manage to get a few draws, but my win ratio was not looking good. I had to do something! </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>So I played about with the team a bit and managed to get a few wins, even a 2-0 against Chelsea! That was a very hard game, but defensively I was solid!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Well the transfer window arrived at the end of December, bringing a flurry of offers for some of my players. Some were for my only decent players and to be quite frank, the offers were only mounting up to a couple of mil! I tried signing Iniesta on loan and was told that he would sign for £14 million for a year plus his wages! Well to be honest, I could not afford it. I tried closer to home and found Wright Phillips who was valued at around £2 million. When I received word back, they wanted £20 million plus his wages! My last attempt was Malouda who was on the transfer list. This time I heard £11 million plus the wages, which to be honest was the only decent player I could get for the money I could pay out. So I signed him. I then sold Diouff, Chimbonda and Nelson, just to make the money back up and I am now up to £54 million, but my squad had shortened. </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>My results however have been better and I am close to a Europa place and edging closer to the top spots.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>It is early in the second half of the season, so hopefully I will find my form and be able to top the league. </b></div><b style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">One last note too, I am in the semi-finals of the FA cup, so this surely should bring me more money if I win, shouldn't it? Only time will tell!</b><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-9106558818920214314?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-10806282091619325102010-11-28T10:30:00.000-08:002010-11-28T10:30:26.841-08:002010-11-28T10:30:26.841-08:00THE RECENT PATCH UPDATE<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>I am glad that konami are trying to reflect on the mistakes they have made during this version of PES. The patches are a welcome note to anyone who plays Pro Evolution Soccer. I have yet to update my option file for this version, but I am waiting a little while until I have moved forward a bit more in my game play and the patches slow down. </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>I hope for Konami's sake that they don't need too many patches for the players who moan about it to stop and we can get on with playing an enjoyable football/soccer simulator. Saying that though, the game itself definitely does need a lot changing to make it the game it should be. I for one do not like the way the camera view changes when first kicking off. It takes a few seconds before you are playing at the right angle to be able to see what is actually going on. I mean I had a game where the game kicked off and immediately I had no idea whether my players were in the right path of the ball as it was going towards them. This in turn led my players straight past the ball and unfavourably allowing the opponent to pick up the ball again and go on to score. This is definitely one which should be addressed and I know I am not the only one who believes this!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>My next post will hopefully contain some info on how my PES 2011 campaign is shaping up.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Hopefully I can give you some positive news! </b></div><b style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">For now, Adios mi Amigo's!</b><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-1080628209161932510?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-78687094703543157542010-11-14T12:17:00.000-08:002010-11-14T12:17:38.036-08:002010-11-14T12:17:38.036-08:00ITS BEEN A WHILE!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Hello once again to this all inspiring blog dedicated to the PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER franchise.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>It has been about a month and a half since the last post and this is for good reason. As you will know, PES 2011 entered our lives in early October. Since then, I am sure that you have been avidly taking note of the differences once again that have been made to the game from the previous versions released. As with each version, Mr "Seabass" tries to improve each unique part of the game, thus making a better and more modern up to date gaming experience. With each release, and of course with the introduction of HD TVs, games have also been given a revamp of such design that it allows the way we play to become even more realistic. This is of course a big factor when, as you will all know when buying a new game, gives us a nudge towards an ever growing addiction to gaming. </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Well lets cut to the chase with this up to date post. Since purchasing my copy of PES 2011, I couldn't wait to start up my PS3 and get the disc in! What with all the hype of the new additions and countless changes to this version of the game, it gave me an overwhelming urge to get some serious game play time and see what new challenges awaited. And also how the game looked! Without doubt, the best experience i had with PES what with PES 5. I loved the ease of use with the menu's, the way the game play flowed and allowed you to manipulate the tricks and moves was awesome, and of course, when you see Maradonna moving with such pace towards the opponents goal, it left you feeling a little emotional! But wait, PES 5 was a few years back and surely the game itself had got better? Well at least with the 2011 version? </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><u><b>THE FIRST IMPRESSIONS:</b></u></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> <b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Well here goes............</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>On the introduction to PES 2011, I was impressed with the style and look. The loading icons had become modernised with the green swirly thingy bob that showed up. The background looked great on the main screen with Messi (as the official mascot type thing), But there was a little problem. When you open up the menu, you are faced with much smaller graphics. I was squinting to try and read what was on the screen. And with the background, some of the fonts were similar in colour. This meant that similar colours and small fonts together made it harder for me to see what was there! I have seen that you can change a lot of items in the game like this, but the pre loaded ones give the same problem and to upload your own requires a little more technological knowledge which, come on, can be tough for the younger or less intellectual of gamers.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>So, first impressions, having not played a game yet???? Errrr OK ish, ;) . Right, next note. Time for a game? Sure, why not. I decided that instead of playing an exhibition match to try the new version out, I would jump straight into the thick of it and try the new Master League mode Online! So here goes. I set up my team, REAL MADRID. This was a little complicated as it told me I could change the name of my team. Nope. Only if you set up in a different way and not choose an existing real life team. Well anyway, I had my Real Madrid team. I thought I would have some decent players to start with. I had a master league default team with players that are not very good. OK not all bad, because I can work around it, after all it says you can buy new players in online mode and make your team how you want. Well I won my first 3 games. 1-0, 3-1, and 1-0. I noticed the more you win and if you win, the more gate receipts you receive. This may be right or wrong, I am not sure. The next 3 games I had, i lost 1-0 on each, One being against someone with the likes of Anelka, Henry, and other top named players! And they scored with their keeper in an injury time corner that was headed in! How gutting is that! </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Well even though you lose some games, you can still gain money from playing, which will normally be more than your entrance fee. Although, still early days, but I will keep updating posts. One last thing before I go though. When you come to choose your team and do your game plan in Master League Online, the drag and drop interface is a cool addition, but it does take a little getting used to. I have noticed that when you choose your team though, that you have to check the stats of your players within the "my team" menu, as when you choose your team and formation, you cannot see the stats. This is a downside, but I am still working on it all myself.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Be sure to come back and check out new posts, as I will be updating a lot more regularly and also keeping you up to date with my results on the main page. This is in all modes (Become a legend, master league - on and offline, online matches etc). And I will also be posting full reviews and guides to PES 2011. </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>So for now, Be cool, Be free and Enjoy life!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><b style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Catch ya laters!</b><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-7868709470354315754?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-62493152380088401812010-09-30T11:46:00.000-07:002010-09-30T11:46:53.357-07:002010-09-30T11:46:53.357-07:00FINDING THE CHEAPEST PES 2011 IN THE UK!I was browsing round the net the other day and trying to find where to get pes 2011. Obviously like any other normal person, I don't like to pay over the top for anything I buy, but one thing I do try and do is save money!<br />
So here goes.....after many hours of searching and figuring out, I found a site that showed every format of PES 2011 for the cheapest price!<br />
I was very happy! I went and pre-ordered my copy for the PS3 and now can't wait untill it arrives!<br />
As I was so happy with this find, I thought best to share with other pro evo players here on my blog so they too can save on their purchase.<br />
The link is attached. Good luck and hope to see you all on the other side!<br />

Some changes were good, but there were also some that made the regular players curse and in worse cases, switch to Fifa ( oooh the harshness of it!).</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>So what will PES 2011 offer us that will pursuade the Fifa drop offs to come back, but also keep the loyal PES fans sided with the usual?</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Well here at "The Pro Evo Masters League" (PEML) we would like to bring you a review and our views on what to expect.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>NEW FEATURES!!!!!!!!!!!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* TOTAL CONTROL - The 360 degree passing ratio has been enhanced to offer even more accuracy of passes, shots, throw-in's, through and lofted balls. Allowing players to pass into space more accurately makes it possible to play with total freedom. You will of course still have to weigh the pass and guess where your player will be running to, but this is standard with the fluency of football. You will also be able to apply pressure on opponents to force them to lose the ball.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* NEW DEFENDER AI - Defenders will hold positions more naturally and will close down an attacker rather than chasing loose balls.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* IMPROVED GOALKEEPERS - Players will have more control over their keepers which allow for quicker roll outs, instinctive saves, pinpoint accuracy with goal kicks and one item that always gets to players - Allowing precision ball distribution to allow keepers to make a quicker break when the clock is ticking down to the whistle!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> <b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* ANIMATION AND PLAYER PHYSICS - With each updated version of PES, the graphics and fluency of the player movement and design gets better. We saw it with the upgrade to the likes of the x-box 360 and PS3, and with high definition, we thought the graphics were muchly improved. This new version will be even better, so the people at konami tell us, but i suppose it is one of those things that we will have to see for ourselves.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* STADIUM EDITOR - With the stadium editor, you will be able to create a whole stadium, from the adboards and hoardings, to the turf style and seating. Also you will be able to choose from a 1,000 - 100,000 seater stadium. The game will allow a total of 50 stadiums (which includes the pre designed and real life). This is a must when you are round each mates house and they have their own stadium to play in. Home and away fixtures will be more fun!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* SPEED OF PLAY - The speed of play will be much more realistic, but can vary dependant on situations. These include a burst of life from the players on a counter and so on, much like the real game.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* AESTETICS - Facial animation has been enhanced, along with over 1,000 all new animations and over 100 hors of motion captured footage. Every aspect of the players movement has been reworked to allow for more realistic movement and playabilty. All told, the best part will be the new replay feature which display elements of motion blur to bring your saved goals to life!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* TACTICAL AND STRATEGY - The newest element in this section is the 'Drag and Drop' mechanism that can be used in every part of team management. The settings are also animated to allow more understanding of what has just been changed.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* FEINT SETTINGS - There have always been more and more special controls and moves that allowed you to make that spectacular goal become one of your best gameplay moments, but with 2011, the tricks and moves you love to do so much will be easier to access. You will be able to map these turns, feints and tricks to the right analogue stick so you can use when you want to.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* MASTER LEAGUE ONLINE! - Possibly the most anticipated part of PES 2011, and god knows why they never added this element before! The much loved master league will now become a part of PES Online. You will be able to play as your favourite team and enter bidding wars with other players to hopefully become the leagues best player. How will you do? I cant wait!!!!!!!!</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>* OTHER EDIT FEATURES - PES 2011 will not contain a boot editor. Boots and Balls will be added through online updates by Konami. You will be able to create teams, Stadiums and even Full leagues (offline - Become a legend, league/cup and master league). League Emblems will also be able to be edited. As well as the usual stuff that can normally be edited.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b>Unfortunately, only Man Utd from the Premier League is licenced, so you will have to rely on the PES Option file update for the proper kits and teams etc. </b></div><br />

I have made it my mission to cut my loss-win ratio down and hopefully get to the stage where I have more wins than losses.</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Right at the start of my online campaign, I wrote about the problems I had with lagging and how it was affecting how many games I was winning. This was a major problem which I eventually sorted out, but not without the damaging reputation to my stats. I racked up a huge 30+ match deficit between the amount of games I lost and those that I had won. My mission was simple, but the challenge was not. My aim was to win enough games and continue so I had more wins under my belt. At the time of this post, I had just played 2 games online. One Vs someone from Saudi Arabia, the other Brazil. One thing I had noticed about playing against these countries was that I suffered yet more lag crushing defeats. The Saudi beat me 3-1 even though with a full strength Argentina team, mostly on red or orange arrows, I could not form a decent attack through the whole game as I normally would. Yet with my opponent as England, he was much faster than I was. I mean come on!!! Messi and Aguero on red arrows and the likes of terry and ferdinand keeping up with them???? I think you catch my drift.</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>The Brazilian was Inter and I stayed as the Argies. Yet again, most of the team was on top form with their stats, but on the pitch, it was a different story. He was all over me!</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>I lost the latter 2-0, which took my win-loss ratio to 16 games. I keep getting it down to the UNLUCKY NUMBER, but can I reduce it further? You guessed it, nope! Well I hope to have some decent news to follow this post on future matches, but at the moment I can't see it happening! </b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>For now, I will leave you to enjoy your own online campaigns and hope you are succeeding where I can't, lol. One of my up and coming posts will be a review of the eagerly anticipated PES 2011. Please come back to check and I hope you enjoy the review. </b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><br />

I just want to tell you that it has been my aim to progress with my pro evo playing skills towards the ranks of the best players. It definately has not been easy due to the early lag problems I had, and the awkward and "no need" goals against me. Also, there are some very very good players out there! You know who you are, lol! So far I have managed to reduce my loss defecit to less than 20 games. Roughly, I have won close to 50 games and lost around the high 60's. The good news though is that the games I win, I score well. Even in my losing games, I have still had a few goals go my way with less conceded than I normally would. The bad news would be from the 5-1 and 7-1 defeats I had recently. The latter of the two was against one of the best players I have encountered on my journey so far! He (or she) was ranked at 640 where as I was ranked (at that time) 510. </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Reaching the rank of 510 wasn't easy, especially from 405. Well now, I still hope to train harder and master the skills needed to rise up. Until the next time, Keep playing and let me know about your experiences online.</b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-4893806466269027385?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-24080475675859934712010-05-10T12:02:00.000-07:002010-05-10T12:02:28.341-07:002010-05-10T12:02:28.341-07:00NEW CONTENT!Just a quick post to mention that I have now added a poll regarding something I mentioned in the last post.<br />
How many times have you had the displeasure of sitting through a long and boring replay of your opponents goal, offside, foul or shot when all you should both be doing is getting on with playing to see who comes out on top? Well, now you have your chance to see if you are alone or not.<br />
At the right hand side of the page is the poll. Just answer Yes, No Maybe or don't know. The closing date is 30/06/10 at 12:00. Please keep checking to see how the poll is going and for further content and updates. Lots and lots more to come.<br />
<br />
Happy playing!!!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-2408047567585993471?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-26604996805620534132010-05-09T03:46:00.000-07:002010-05-09T03:46:38.331-07:002010-05-09T03:46:38.331-07:00100 ONLINE GAMES!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Welcome once again and thankyou for visiting the PRO EVO MASTERS LEAGUE. In this post, as you see in the title, I have now reached the milestone of 100 online games. Oh what fun it has been! There have been many ups and downs during my campaign to become a decent pro evo player. Also during my time online I have met many other like minded players who I have enjoyed playing. The one thing I have noticed is some players are just not very people friendly, and they will make sure things annoy you. For instance, you may all know that when you someone scores, there is a replay. The replay starts with a goal celebration, then with a video replay, then with an interactive replay that you can change the angles to suit however you want to see the goal. The one problem with having the replay function online is, there are many players who have to watch the whole replay from start to finish, from all the angles and just leave it to play, along with watchin the full replay of offsides, missed shots etc. I don't know about you, but this is really annoying and there is no need for it. Now I am not one for dissing things like this, and fair play if the goal is a cracker and you share it with the other player, just the once, but come on! You players who have to watch every replay during the whole game, do you really have to? Or is it just your feeble attempt to put the other player off for the game cos you are not that good? I remember one game I had that mimicked what I had told you. My opposing player was letting every single replay go on till the end, even the offsides. Well yeah, it annoyed me, but did not put me off. I was 2-0 down because of some silly goals which should never have gone in, but anyway. I decided I was more bothered about winning the game. So as I was already doing, I hammered in the shots from the left and right and some from the middle, I was dribling the ball into the box, but still nothing seemed to work. Then from a free kick, I lobbed the ball towards the box and Iniesta (I was Barcelona) chested the ball down and volleyed the ball into the top right corner! I was amazed! So did I just press the pause button to skip the replay and get on with the game? Ha Ha! Nope, I decided I would have my revenge, even though I was still a goal down and I watched every second of the replays much o the delight of the opposing player. The comments flooded in and were "COME ON" and "HURRY UP!" </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Its nice to have that happy feeling once again. So to sum it up, If there are any players out there who decide on doing this constant replay watching, DON'T! I mean come on people, you don't like it done to you so don't do it to others just because you find it funny! Play the game and have good sportsmanship, you will find that you will enjoy the game better.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">One last thing before I leave you, I just want to say a quick hi to Orbitus who I have had the pleasure of playing online recently. The games have been good, and you are a good sportsman and good player. Thanks for the add.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">If I get chance when playing online soon, I will try and remember the names of who I play and let you know how I get on.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Thanks for reading and take care people, happy playing!</span></b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-2660499680562053413?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-83816947198549743692010-04-10T12:56:00.000-07:002010-04-10T12:56:51.224-07:002010-04-10T12:56:51.224-07:00LOVING PRO EVO!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I absolutely love playing PRO EVO! All the elements you could want in a football based computer game are there! You can play as a whole team or even as one individual player. You can also make transfers and manage your teams finances. So in a whole, I still think and believe it is the best football (soccer) based game around. If you are going to tell me that the FIFA series is possibly the best then you are wasting your time! I am not going to be swayed away. PRO EVO through and through.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">The next part of this post is about my journey through my master league phase. </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">When I first bought the game since upgrading to a PS3, I started my master league as MAN UTD. I myself am a Blackburn Rovers fan, but since the years of shearer and sutton back in the mid 90's, they just haven't had the presence I had hoped. Well back to the present anyhows. As I said, I was to be MAN UTD. The presence of Rooney was sure to help me, even if Ronaldo had gone overseas. Well I was in for a little shock, but I still had a good strength squad. Park Ji Sung and nani on the wings, and scholes along side giggs in the centre with rooney up front. Ferdinand, Vidic, Neville and O'Shea made up my defence, but with the added bonus of the twins (Fabio and Raphael), I still had choices. </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Well within the master league, the system had become more interactive with scouts handling extras and the basis of fan club revenue and sponsors which left me quite pleased. I started off my campaign within the league slowly and after the first 5 games I had won 3 and drawn 2 only to have scored 4 goals. Wow! I had believed the game to be harder, but had not anticipate the computer AI to be so realistic and lifelike. I had at this time still been using my old formation as previously mentioned in other posts. When I changed to my newer formation, things started to look up, but this change hadn't started untill sfter I managed to get myself knocked out of the champions league. DOH! Well I still had a chance in the Europa League, which I went on to win against Fiorentina in the Final. The League finished with MAN UTD top by 11 points and Rooney was league best player, top scorer with 47 goals and Park Ji Sung was assist leader. Season 2 got off to a bad start, even after I had bought a few new players. Owen and Berbatov had both been sold as they were as much use as a car with no wheels. I had bought Luis Fabiano, Mutu, Lennon, Wright Phillips, through transfers and Van Der Vaart on a loan deal. I think the problem had been getting used to the new players within the team. I have now started getting used to my new team and they are making their way steadily back up the table and are currently 3rd. Only 2 points behind the leaders. Also, from winning the previous seasons league, I am back in the champions league. First game against Real Madrid was to be a real test (no pun intended!). In the first season, they hammered me and I did not think they would give an easy run this time either. This is the most current and up to date game I have played in my master league. The final score finished 5-0 to me! 13 shots, 12 on target, 34% possession (work that out, lol), nah, seriously though, I never have a high possession rate, but I still manage get the shots in. </span></b></div><b><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">As this is my most up to date game, I am afraid I am at the end of this post. Do not worry though as there will definately be more to come. I have the lads coming round for a tourney on weds night, and hope to play more of my master league, as well as try out the "become a legend" mode. I enjoyed this in previous versions on the PS2. Well I hope you enjoyed this post and have kept up to date with the others too. I hope you can come back regularly as I have more and more posts and other content becoming available.</span></b><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-8381694719854974369?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-49114062673925112992010-04-05T04:42:00.000-07:002010-04-05T04:44:12.843-07:002010-04-05T04:44:12.843-07:00THE HEAT IS ON!<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: small;">After Sorting out the lag problems and completely revamping the formations and settings, things started to work out. I was to play my main rival within our PEML community and I had a feeling it wasnt going to be easy. Whenever these games are on, we never know which way the results will sway. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: small;">A total of 5 games were played and like I said before, it wasnt going to be easy. 3 of the games ended 1-1. The other 2 finished 2-0 and 1-0 to me. I was very happy with these results, although they were not any official matches and were just friendlies so I did not recieve any points. Still made me feel good though, lol.</span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: small;">Last night I played another fellow PRO EVO player and out of 6 games, I had won 5 and drew the other 1-1. Playing with England, Brazil, Man Utd and Barcelona I tried to see if any difference was made using the different teams. Hopefully my success will continue and my unbeaten run will extend long into the future. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: small;">What is next instore? I do not know. But I am sure the future will bring challenges, and excitement in the world of PRO EVO.</span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: small;">Thanks for reading and please come back for further posts and news. </span></span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-4911406267392511299?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-25154558245125305602010-03-28T12:07:00.000-07:002010-03-28T12:08:49.311-07:002010-03-28T12:08:49.311-07:00A JOB WELL DONE (Continued)<div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Resolving the lag was to help me, so I thought. The first match I played resulted in a defeat, a 4-0 defeat! The lag had gone, but alas my playing ability hadn't returned. I needed to do something for the next games. </span></b></div><div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I didn't do anything to help myself during the first game. Not a good idea! I really should have done something to my formation, plus my strategy. </span></b></div><div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Ok, I had spent time tinkering about with my gameplan. Saved the formation, which was totally different to what I am used to. My old formation which I have used in all the other 3 versions was a 4-3-3 attacking style with the main emphasis of the team attacking from the midfield forwards and heavily supplying the CF and the wingers. This used to help me win around 85-90% of my games. </span></b></div><div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Well I am not going to tell you my new formation as it is one I have perfected in my own little way. And obviously do not want to reveal my secrets. </span></b></div><div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">So with formation sorted, and gameplan sorted a loaded up the onlin mode and was back to bring back the wins I was needing so much. The first game finished 4-0 to me. I was England, the other Spain. I totally dominated the game and had plenty of fun demolishing his defence. </span></b></div><div style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">The next 2 games I comfortably won. This brings me up to sunday 28th march. I am about to re-enter the online mode and I will keep you informed of my progress.</span></b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-2515455824512530560?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-65297207302003811082010-03-27T13:21:00.000-07:002010-03-28T12:09:25.055-07:002010-03-28T12:09:25.055-07:00A JOB WELL DONE!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b>Since the last post, I have managed to sort out the lag problem when playing online. I plugged the ethernet cable straight to my ps3 and not connected via my wireless router. This helped alot! The connection from my modem was now straight into my ps3. Things have never be better. With the lag now virtually non existent, I was able to play the game how I used to. This was gonna be good, I thought.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b>Now you would think that not having the lag anymore would help wouldn't you? This may have been the case on previous verions of the game, but you have to remember that I was used to playing on the ps2 versions.</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b>More to come on this post.................</b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-6529720730200381108?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-6978551645996619362010-03-21T15:01:00.000-07:002010-03-21T15:02:28.809-07:002010-03-21T15:02:28.809-07:00ONLINE AGAIN!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I played online again today. First game I played was against one of my friends. Did I experience any lag? Well to start off it seemed ok. Within the first few seconds I had made a run and scored my first goal. It was my best so far in PES 2010. About a couples of minutes in real time and the lag started to happen. I conceded a goal. But to my friends credit, it was a good one also. In the second half, the lag continued and was back to the 2 second sort. Whilst my friend took an attack forward, I tried with all my might and intuition to defend. Only to find I could do nothing due to the lag. The attack had made its way into the box. With a complete fluke, one of my players managed to get the ball and was running out of the box. Then to much surprise, another player of mine had run towards him and stolen the ball. He was now running head on towards the goal. The keeper had fallen over during the tussle a couple of seconds before. Oh No! My player had walked the ball straight into the net! OWN GOAL! Not good! So I was now 2-1 down and with around 30 mins of gameplay time (not normal time!) </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">How did the result finish? Well it ended 2-1 which was pretty respectable considering the annoying time lag.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">My friend dissapeared quite contented with his win and I was still determined to get that first online win. So I joined a match room and started a game against another player. Think he was from denmark. I picked Barcelona and he picked Real Madrid. Starting the game it seemed like there was no lag at all. RESULT! Then once again, a couple of mins in and it started again. I was 2-0 down by half time. The game finished 5-1! Yes I managed to score even with the lag. If I can score with the lag, then I am sure I can beat people without. </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">With this in mind, I leave you with one thought..............Do you think it is worth playing a game online if there is bad lag? I'm still unsure, but for now, I will still give it a go.</span></b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Happy playing people and come back soon.</span></span></b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-697855164599661936?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-32801181419575581392010-03-21T07:31:00.000-07:002010-03-21T07:31:36.352-07:002010-03-21T07:31:36.352-07:00ONLINE PRO EVO!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">The last time I played pro evo online, it was the pro evo 6 version I think. I remember the gameplay being fast and smooth. Although, there were a few glitches which brought lag to some of the games. I relished the chance of playing against people from the uk and other countries, without leaving leaving the comfort of my home.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I also signed up to PES Rankings and entered a few of their competitions.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Oh it was brilliant. There were a few things that many would have changed, but the makers of pro evo have tried to rectify any problems with each new verion of the game.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Well, back to the present. As you know, myself and a few friends have been avid players of pro evo. I myself have been playing it since pro evo 4.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Well I decided to try the online mode of PES 2010 since purchasing it this last week. My friends have all had this version since the release, hence why I was really happy I remained undefeated all of last weds evening.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">When I got online I found the menus were alot more in depth than the last version I played online. It did not take long though before I was ready to play! I was really excited to once again be pitting my skills against some other pro evo enthusiast! </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Ok, I had the opponent ready and was about to start. I had my team selected, had to re-do my team tactics and formation, as you have to load your formation settings before you go to a match. But still, I was ready to play. </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">THE GAME! </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Game 1 had started! I was England, and the opponent was Brazil. I kicked off. Something wasnt right! What was up with my controls? I had to pause the game. Went to the settings and checked my cursor control settings. Nothing wrong there. So I went back to the game. There was still something wrong! There was a 2 second button delay, so when I wanted to do a quick move, I couldn't! By the time I had executed the move, the other player had taken the ball and was halfway up the pitch! I carried on regardless because apparently if you quit a match, it shows on your profile and people are least likely to play you. Well the game finished 5-0 to my opponent. I was feeling a bit let down. The score was not because I was bad, it was due to the lag, and once again like the old days, it had come back to haunt me!</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I still carried on to play another 4 games, bearing in mind that these were ranked games and affected my profile score! Guess what???? You guessed right, the games all went to the other players! I had dreaded button lag in all of them! Why cant you fix this konami? Surely after these years something can be done? </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Unterred, I will carry on to play online against other people, hoping the lag resides. Will this happen, I am not sure. But do not worry, I will be posting regularly on my experiences, along with those of my friends.</span></b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Catch ya soon peoples........</span></span></b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-3280118141957558139?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-30741822424056563742010-03-20T06:58:00.000-07:002010-03-20T06:58:49.741-07:002010-03-20T06:58:49.741-07:00WELL WELL WELL!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Welcome once again. Since the last post, the four of us met up and had the first games of PES 2010 on the PS3 together. Well it was a very entertaining night! Out of the singles matches and the one doubles match we played, I finished the night undefeated. My user ID when online is BEAT-TASTIC. Please feel free to link up and give me a challenge, though no doubt you will probably beat me, lol. </span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I did have the scores from the initial nights games, but unfortunately, one of my fellow PES companions has taken the results and I cannot post them. The story is (if true), one supposedly took it and wet the paper so as to make the results unable to read.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">Hopefully the future results will not be tampered with. I will be posting as regularly as I can and will keep you informed of my travels during the PES campaign.</span></b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;">I have signed up to PES rankings to see how I hold up with the events that I enter.</span></b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Happy playing!</span></span></b></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4656767745935113562-3074182242405656374?l=thepeml.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>karadoon mediahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09083470014345226295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4656767745935113562.post-75715415524049666742010-03-16T16:20:00.000-07:002010-03-16T16:20:45.443-07:002010-03-16T16:20:45.443-07:00WELCOME!<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b>Hi and welcome to the Pro Evo Masters League! </b></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><b><br />
