To Be The Best

Hey lads,

It's been such a long time since my last post! I don't know where the time has gone. First of all, let me thank Bob again for his kind words in introducing me. The site is great and Bob has solid advice. Anyway, let's get cracking!

Bob's last article was a great read. I love the struggles of PES. I always did. Master League is a challenge on so many levels. That feeling of one more game is alive and well in PES 2012. MLO is a different beast altogether though. It is extremely difficult to create a team from scratch. While Bob caters for players who are struggling and need help starting their MLO adventures, Hopefully I can offer my advice on maintaining your team once you get over the initial hardship.

My team at the moment is worth 220 million. I reckon that's the average for most players who have played the game a lot. I have played PES 2012 MLO a lot!

I run a MLO series on YouTube so that's my excuse! I share the load though as my brother plays too and between us we have racked up about 600 matches, more than enough to build a dynasty. However, I played the game the wrong way for about 50+ matches. I never accounted for form. I made some howlers with contracts and the likes but finally broke past the 550 mark in Div 1.

Currently, I sit on 633 points and have a great team. I think the main thing to push home is that you need a squad. I operate on a 18 man team rotation. I build my team around a chosen 2-3 players every week. The best way to achieve this is pick your best player and look at his form. Currently, I am waiting to build around Aguero. He will be red on the 10th so I want my other players in similar form.

I can't stress this enough. The longer a player is in your team the better, because of a bedding in period. Aguero is green today, as is Gerrard, Pato and Tevez. That way, they will all hit top form together. That is how you put a team together. It takes a bit of planning because I am not at the stage of ridicolous fortune just yet. I see guys with teams worth 1 billion. These are cheaters, there is no way you could afford players like that unless you win all your matches. But that's another story!

Anyway guys, that's it for today. Get in touch in the comments!

  1. Solid advice and good on you for getting your ranks up there. I totally agree with the mention about form arrows and keeping your team built around certain players. I have seen my team performances drop so many times from not rotating and not keeping an eye on the form. Having decent performing players in your team is a key to success, but when the arrows drop to blue or purple, you will have your work cut out. Especially if you hae no equally good players to replace them.
