BECOME A LEGEND MODE

PES 2011 BAL Mode is all about playing to your full potential. You may not have the best of stats when you first start your career, but if you work hard and impress your manager in the process, you should be able to stay in the first team and continue gaining more experience. Your stats will improve and you may even have the opportunity of signing a Mega bucks deal and playing for the team that you have dreamt of.

My Become a Legend mode has definitely been eventful. I started off with Newcastle United and stayed put for a year, before I received an offer from Blackburn Rovers. Many other players would have probably wanted to wait for a better team, but as a Blackburn fan myself, I wanted to sign and prove that I should be kept on. The team didn't work together too well which meant, being the lone striker, I was having to work a lot harder to ensure my place in the first team. During the first half of the season my stats had improved slightly but not too much. I had scored 4 goals and had an assist, but still this hasn't helped my cause. PES 2011 has changed the BAL mode to allow you to see how much you are earning. This can then help you see how much you can afford to spend on an agent. Your agent will be useful to get you that transfer you have wanted.
Back to my career. During the mid season transfer window I had received a few offers, with more money than I was earning, but I stayed with Rovers as they were the team I wanted to stick with. I played the best I could to the end of the season and even bagged a few man of the match awards along the way. When the season finished I was informed by my agent that I was surplus to requirements and had to take an offer from one of the clubs trying to sign me. Bolton then took me under their wing and offered me a 2 year contract at more than twice what I was earning. Feeling a little frustrated at Rovers for letting me go, I signed for Bolton and started my 3rd season.

So far the season is going well. I have 7 assists and 10 goals, along with a mass of man of the match awards, even during a goal less game. My form has definitely improved along with my improvement in my stats. So far this is easily the best of my career so far and I hope it gets better.

My next post on BAL Mode will hopefully be eventful. I may even throw a few clips of the goals in for good measure and maybe a few pics too.

If you are a regular follower of my blog, please feel free to leave comments and let me know what you would like to see when you next visit. Also I will soon be up for challenges on PES if anyone can suggest any.
